4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Packing belongings appropriately
• Informing us of any changes to contact details

Customers remain solely responsible for all items placed into storage.

5. Prohibited Items

For the safety of everyone using our facility, the following items must not be stored:

• Illegal goods
• Firearms or ammunition
• Explosives
• Flammable liquids
• Hazardous chemicals
• Toxic materials
• Gas cylinders
• Perishable food
• Live animals
• Plants
• Stolen property
• Radioactive materials
• Controlled or prohibited substances under UAE law

Dubai Self Storage Solutions reserves the right to refuse storage of any item considered unsafe or unlawful.

6. Access to Your Storage Unit

Customers may access their storage unit during our published access hours.

For security purposes:

• Identification may be requested.
• Access may be monitored by CCTV.
• Access procedures may change without prior notice for operational or security reasons.

7. Payments

Rental charges must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule.

Failure to make payment may result in:

• Late payment charges (where applicable)
• Suspension of access
• Further action as permitted under the rental agreement and applicable UAE laws

8. Insurance

Customers are encouraged to insure the contents of their storage units.

Dubai Self Storage Solutions does not automatically provide insurance for stored goods unless specifically stated in the rental agreement.

Customers are responsible for determining the value of their stored belongings.

9. Security

We maintain security measures, including

• 24/7 CCTV monitoring
• Secure facility access
• Climate-controlled units (where applicable)
• Routine facility maintenance

While we take reasonable steps to protect stored property, no security system can completely eliminate all risks.

10. Customer Liability

Customers confirm that:

• They are the legal owner of the stored items or have permission to store them.
• Stored goods comply with UAE laws and regulations.
• Goods are packed safely to avoid damage to the unit or other customers’ property.

Customers remain responsible for any damage caused by their stored items.

11. Our Liability

Dubai Self Storage Solutions will exercise reasonable care in maintaining the facility.

However, we are not responsible for loss or damage resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Fire
• Flood
• Power outages
• Civil disturbances
• Government actions
• Theft despite reasonable security measures
• Customer negligence or improper packing

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable UAE law.

12. Termination of Storage

Customers may terminate their storage agreement by providing notice in accordance with the rental agreement.

Dubai Self Storage Solutions may terminate storage services where:

• Rental fees remain unpaid
• These Terms are breached
• Illegal or prohibited goods are discovered
• Continued storage presents a safety or legal risk

13. Website Information

We aim to ensure that all information on this website is accurate and up to date.

However:

• Prices may change without notice.
• Unit availability may vary.
• Images are for illustration purposes only.
• Dimensions are approximate.

14. Privacy
